Bravery

Being brave is easier said than done. Being “brave” can mean a lot of different things to different people. Doing something that seems brave to one person may not seem brave to someone else. Sometimes people say to not be scared of anything and to always take risks no matter what. It’s okay to be scared, but it’s also important to make sure that it doesn’t consume you to your very core. If it starts to consume you, you could potentially loose yourself in the process. Someone might think they are being brave because they are able to sing in front of a crowd of people. Whereas, someone might think they are being brave because they are able to go skydiving with their friends. There are different types of bravery. Neither one or the other is more important or greater than the other. If you’ve wanted to be able to do that one thing you’ve been wanting to do your whole life, but haven’t mustered up the courage to do so. If you feel like it could better your life and make you happy, what are you waiting for……go for it! It’s important to make sure in life you accomplish everything you want to accomplish no matter how small or large it may be. Just remember to be yourself and know that you can do anything if you truly put forth the effort and encouragement that you need to accomplish your goal. You are your own motivator.

Positive Energy

Life is hard enough as it is, but when you have to deal with crazy emotions all the time it’s definitely no picnic. I’ve learned that some people are able to tune out the stress and frustration that life throws at you and some are not able to accomplish that. In order to be able to tune out the stress in life you have to say to yourself: “Is this worth wasting my energy on?” If not, you can take that energy and use it for something positive and uplifting. When you learn to drown out the negativity in life, you will feel more free and powerful. Life is an amazing journey. Sure things will go wrong in your life, that’s going to be inevitable because life isn’t perfect. It’s how you react to all the negative situations you experience that make you who you are. If things go wrong, know that it’s not going to last forever and that you have the power to take action and change what is happening. You are your own innovator and your own uplifter. If you think negative thoughts, you will become more negative and naturally start to surround yourself with more negative people that will fuel that negative energy. On the flip side, if you think positive thoughts and surround yourself with positive people, you will fuel your body with positive energy. It’s truly amazing what the mind can do and how you can trick your mind. Even if you don’t feel positive, if you try to act positive, such as smiling more and being kinder to others, your mind will start to automatically think in a more positive way. So, take all the sunshine you can in, breathe in that beautiful crisp air, and take all the wonderful and potentially scary risks you’ve always wanted to take. Live life to the fullest in the way that will bring you the most joy.
